LONDON, 6th July 2026 – Gravita, a full-service accounting and advisory firm announces a combination with Godfrey Wilson, a specialist firm for not for profit organisations and commercial clients based in Bristol. Godfrey Wilson is the seventh firm to join Gravita on its mission to become a Top 25 national accountancy and advisory firm by 2030. This continued growth is being delivered with the support and backing of private equity investor, Tenzing, helping Gravita expand its national presence and capabilities, alongside ongoing investment in its people and client service. Built on a shared culture of trust and integrity, this combination gives Godfrey Wilson full access to a wider breadth of services for clients, specialist teams and leading technology platforms.
The combination deepens Gravita’s commitment to the charities sector, as it will now support more than 1,100 not for profit organisations, ranging from local community groups to some of the UK’s most prominent and well-loved household names. All members of Godfrey Wilson have joined Gravita, with the aim of ensuring continuity for existing clients while expanding the firm’s South West footprint.
Godfrey Wilson brings an exceptional track record in the not for profit sector, having been ranked in the top three accountancy firms nationally for both Charity Expertise and Overall Service in the Civil Society’s Charity Audit Finance Survey for the last three consecutive years. In addition, a January 2026 Client Engagement Survey found that 99% of clients recommended the firm.
New regulations introduced this year, combined with a challenging fundraising environment and rising operational costs mean the need for high-calibre, specialist audit and advisory services for the sector has never been greater.
