Gravita celebrates three director promotions in its Bristol and Exeter offices

Leading accountancy firm announces three internal promotions across its South West offices after joining forces with Haines Watts Western

Gravita, the tech-enabled accountancy firm for growth businesses and high-net-worth individuals, has strengthened its regional teams in the South West with three internal director promotions across its Exeter and Bristol offices. The promotions reiterate Gravita’s belief that sustainable growth comes from investing in its people and creating opportunities for them to thrive, as well as being a key part of its growth strategy following the acquisition of Haines Watts Western earlier this year.

Kelly Gould
Jade Quaintance
Matthew Oldfield

In the Exeter office, Kelly Gould, a tax specialist with expertise in complex HMRC matters, personal and NHS pensions, has been promoted to Tax Director, and Head of Audit Jade Quaintance has been promoted to Audit Director. In Bristol, Matthew Oldfield has been promoted to Tax Director, as he continues to leverage his experience working with high-net-worth individuals and business owners on their personal tax affairs.

The promotions come at an exciting time for Gravita’s offices in the South West region, following an office relocation in Exeter last month to accommodate Gravita’s growing team and enhance client experience through upgraded, modern facilities. Earlier this year, Gravita acquired well-established accountancy firm Haines Watts Western, combining the strengths of both firms across sectors including technology, property, renewable energy, legal services, and charitable organisations. This marked Gravita’s seventh acquisition since 2022.

Heather Swanston, Interim CEO for Gravita, said:

“Attracting and retaining the next generation of talent is something we pride ourselves on and developing those individuals is an essential element of our colleague proposition. Kelly, Jade and Matt have demonstrated excellent leadership, building strong and lasting client relationships and technical skills, making them part of the exciting generation of talent we have across Gravita.”

Matthew Bracher, Lead Partner for Gravita South West, said:

“It’s fantastic to recognise the growth and potential of our Western team. These promotions reflect Gravita’s focus on building rewarding careers and recognising the dedication of our people. Kelly, Jade, and Matt are highly skilled professionals who embody the collaborative and supportive culture we’re proud of at Gravita.”
