Hampshire accountancy firm welcome new addition to the board

Caroline Sturt, Associate Director at leading Hampshire accountancy firm Langdowns DFK, will be stepping up as the lead accountant at their Andover office following the retirement of Director, David Ings, after 42 years at the firm. Caroline has been with the practice for nearly 30 years and is excited by the opportunities to expand the Andover branch.

Caroline began her journey at Langdowns DFK in 1991, working alongside David in the original home of Langdowns DFK in Andover, undertaking a variety of roles, including acting as the firm’s IT support and training clients on accounting software. Caroline went on to qualify as a Chartered Accountant in 1998 and is also the firm’s Solicitor’s Accounts Rules Specialist.

Langdowns DFK Chief Executive Officer Neil Raynsford said

“Congratulations to Caroline on this much deserved progression within the firm. We are delighted that Caroline is showing her commitment to the continuing development of the Andover branch. Caroline has all the necessary skills and knowledge to do brilliantly well in the role and we wish her all the best.”

Caroline, who lives with her husband in Andover, said

“I am absolutely delighted to be heading up the Andover branch of Langdowns DFK. It’s been one of my goals since embarking on my accounting journey and I’m excited to commit my future to the firm and the clients I work with. I’m eager to take on future challenges to develop the practice.”
