Flying sky high with Cloud Accounting

Eight DFK UK & Ireland member firms are on cloud nine after achieving the highest status awarded by the leading provider of cloud accounting software.

Alexander Sloan, Crowleys DFK, DSG, Langdowns DFK, Shaw Gibbs and Wilson Wright are the latest members of DFK UK & Ireland to become Platinum partners with software provider Xero.

They join CBW and Harrison Beale & Owen who had already gained the accolade.

The firms had to hit a number of targets specified by Xero in order to reach the ultimate award, demonstrating their strong commitment to online accounting in providing a more efficient and effective service to clients.

Peter Winter, chairman of DFK UK & Ireland, said:

“As a national group of DFK International, we have placed a strong emphasis on the impact of new technologies in the fast-changing digital age.

“It is therefore particularly pleasing that nine firms, which together represent half of our membership, now have Platinum partner status with Xero which highlights their outstanding commitment to cloud accounting in helping clients to maintain records digitally.

“This is especially relevant with Making Tax Digital starting to come into force from April which ultimately aims for every business to have a digital tax account.”

Damon Anderson, Director of Partner & Product at Xero, said:

We are delighted to be working with DFK UK & Ireland. The group has got a clear focus on bringing value to its clients so we look forward to collaborating in the coming months.”
