CBW, London accountants, Tax and Business Advisers, has made Luke Metson and Steve Bilby partners. The promotions will be effective as of 1 April and brings the total number of partners at the top 50 firm to 23.
Luke Metson, Director of General Practice, has over 13 years’ experience working within the General Practice team at CBW and brings a wealth of knowledge of handling international groups, as well as owner-managed businesses. His expertise lies in guiding clients through operational and strategic change and supporting general compliance requirements.
Luke has strong technical abilities and sits on a number of internal ICAEW committees and has written for the ICAEW’s ‘Audit and Beyond’. He is also a fellow of the ACCA and an approved ATOL licensed practitioner, which permits him to work closely with clients within the highly regulated travel sector.
Steve Bilby, Business Development Director, joined CBW in 2012, following a successful 25-year career in banking, where he won a number of accolades for his work. He has been a key member of CBW’s management team for five years during which he has devised and implemented an innovative business development strategy for the firm and has brought a fresh perspective to the partnership in how to grow new business opportunities and further develop client relationships.
