Brown Butler hosts global accountancy association in Leeds

Leeds based chartered accountants, Brown Butler, will this week host delegates from across the UK & Ireland and international representatives from around the world, as part of the firm’s 100th anniversary celebrations.

The 2019 DFK UK and Ireland conference will take place at the Doubletree Hilton in Leeds from the 25th-27th September. The conference has attracted in excess of 110 delegates to discuss emerging trends, developments and opportunities across the accountancy profession globally.

DFK International is made up of independent member firms who are passionate about client service, technical excellence and innovation. This year’s DFK conferences have been held in Prague, Singapore, Hawaii and Leeds.

Director at Brown Butler, James White commented:

It is a great privilege to be asked to host the DFK UK & Ireland conference in our centenary year. This year we will be welcoming attendees not only from the UK and Ireland, but also from North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

At Brown Butler we recognise our client base has an increasing requirement for cross-border advice and assistance. Membership of DFK enables us to present truly global solutions to our clients, potential clients and professional contacts.

The three-day event incorporates the partner and young professionals’ conferences which are sponsored by PayDashboardKeys Finance and Virtual Cabinet.

James added: “Conferences are always great places to share knowledge and find out how firms conduct business in different countries. We have some fantastic speakers lined up who will challenge delegates to think differently.”

Brown Butler employs more than 80 people at its office on St Paul’s Street Leeds and continues to develop and structure itself to ensure it is well positioned to support both the future growth of the business and the objectives of new and existing clients.

The firm offers a full range of accounting services including audit and assurance; tax compliance and planning; advisory and business services; and corporate finance.
