BKL appoints two new partners

Accountants, tax and business advisers BKL are proud to announce the appointment of two new partners: Anoop Rehal and an internal promotion, Aron Kleiman.

Anoop Rehal

About Anoop Rehal

Anoop has joined BKL from Cooper Parry. He has two decades of experience helping clients to redesign their finance functions and drive their businesses forward.

As a senior member of BKL’s Advance Business Services (ABS) team, Anoop will help to ensure that growing businesses receive tailored support that grows with them.

About Aron Kleiman

Aron was Head of Audit and Accounts at Wilson Wright, who came together with BKL in 2024. He is highly experienced at helping audit clients to manage risk, understand where their organisation has been and refine their journey ahead.

Aron’s promotion to partner recognises his ongoing achievements as BKL’s Head of Audit Excellence: guiding the team in delivering effective, efficient audits to clients of all sectors and complexities.

Aron Kleiman

Anoop and Aron’s appointments mark the latest step in our expansion of BKL’s technical expertise and senior-level leadership this year. Between March and September, three new tax partners joined the business, Juliet Shaw joined as Chief Growth Officer and, most recently, James Addison joined as Chief Operations Officer.

This also comes at a time when three directors in BKL’s ABS and tax teams have been announced among the winners of this year’s Accountancy Age 35 Under 35 – recognising the high standard of leadership, client impact and technical excellence within BKL.

Anoop Rehal said:

“I’m really excited to join BKL as a partner. What drew me to BKL was the chance to work closely with SMEs – the heartbeat of the economy – with a team that truly values relationships, personal service, and doing things the right way.

“The people at BKL are down-to-earth, collaborative, and ambitious. I can’t wait to play a part in helping the firm grow.”

Aron Kleiman said:

“Being promoted to partner is a milestone I’m incredibly honoured to have achieved. I will continue driving the adoption of cutting-edge audit technologies, tools and techniques to enhance the audit experience for our clients and teams.

“I’m excited about the future as we continue to grow and evolve BKL’s audit practice.”

Lee Brook, BKL’s CEO, said:

“Anoop and Aron have taken different paths to partner level: Anoop joining us from a larger firm; Aron having progressed within our business. This shows that BKL is the ideal place for experienced, talented professionals of all types. I’m proud to have them both on the team.”

“I know that Anoop and Aron will continue leading by example among colleagues, while ensuring we provide high-quality, insightful, innovative services to ambitious clients.”
