Maylarch, a long-standing client of Shaw Gibbs, is an award winning multi-disciplinary environmental services contractor specialising in demolition, licensed asbestos removal, land remediation and waste management. The company has extensive experience of working across a wide range of buildings and structures in both the private and public sectors including education, health, commercial, utilities and social housing.
M&M Waste Solutions supplies waste collection services together with an extensive fleet of collection vehicles from Worton Park near Oxford where it has a state of the art materials recycling facility and waste transfer station handling up to 150,000 tonnes of material every year. The company offers a full complement of waste management solutions throughout Oxfordshire and the surrounding counties.
The two companies will continue to operate separately to maintain their branding, and specialist services.
Shaw Gibbs marketed the business on behalf of the Maylarch shareholders and advised them on their selection of the right partner to drive the business forward. The team at Shaw Gibbs were on-hand throughout the process, beginning with an extensive piece of industry research, to managing negotiations and assisting the parties through to completion.
Maylarch managing director Simon Ward said:
