DFK UK & Ireland sees Double Delegates

Numbers for this September’s DFK UK & Ireland Annual Conference have doubled on last year.

Over 100 delegates have so far registered to attend the three-day conference which will be hosted by Brown Butler in Leeds as it celebrates its own centenary.

The increase coincides with DFK UK & Ireland combining its young professionals conference with the annual conference for the first time.

The move to bring the two together is designed to lead to greater integration and interaction between partners and future leaders, and is reflected in the conference theme of ‘Inspiring Tomorrow’s Leaders’.

Caroline Cassidy, executive officer of DFK UK & Ireland, said:

We know that the younger generation will be taking the lead going forward so to have them integrating with everyone at the conference is great.

“The whole group will be together for the keynote speakers and social activities, and then the young professional delegates will break away for sessions focusing on leadership training.

We have had a really good uptake with young professional and annual conference delegates even registering from Mexico, Sweden, Saudi
Arabia and the USA.  We are a very welcoming and open group, and a lot of our international delegates come to the conference year on year.

DFK UK & Ireland has also secured three sponsors of the conference – PayDashboardKeys Finance and Virtual Cabinet – as well as high-profile speakers including Julian Richer, Stuart Maister, Robert Mowbray and Una McSorley.

A guided tour of Harewood House, one of the Treasure Houses of England, go karting and visit to an escape room have been lined up for social activities.

The gala dinner will take place in the dramatic Banking Hall within the historic Aspire building, once home to Yorkshire Penny Bank, later known as Yorkshire Bank.

James White, director at Brown Butler, as well as financial director at DFK UK and Ireland, is looking forward to welcoming everyone to Leeds on Wednesday, September 25.

He said:

We have been working closely with the executive team to make this a standout conference and with the number of delegates already
registered so far, we are definitely on track.

It is a great honour for Brown Butler to be hosting in our centenary year and tops off a very special anniversary.
