Shaw Gibbs have welcomed five new starters: Abby Potter, Luke Brazier, Jacob Thomas-Watts Mamata Maden and James Painter, all started with the firm on Monday the 2nd of September.
- Abby, a Trainee in the Compliance team is a mathematics graduate who has been working for the past year as an Accounts Payable Assistant at Diamond Light Source.
- Luke, a Trainee in the Outsourcing team has recently finished his A levels in Geography, Philosophy and Ethics.
- Jacob, a Trainee in Compliance joins from Hays Recruitment where he has been working over the past two years in their Accountancy & Finance division.
- Mamata has joined the Audit team, having previously worked within the Audit division of a Big Four firm.
James Painter also took over as Head of Tax, He has over 13 years of experience in tax which includes working with owner-managers helping them to structure their business for tax optimisation, business acquisition and disposal and cross border and international tax issues.
James will be leading and growing the Shaw Gibbs combined personal and corporate tax teams across Oxford and London, splitting his time between the two Shaw Gibbs offices.
