Shaw Gibbs Financial Services named ‘Shopper’s choice’ by FT Financial Adviser’s Mystery Shopper
August 24, 2017
We are very pleased to announce that Shaw Gibbs Financial Services have been named ‘Shopper’s choice’ by FT Financial Adviser’s Mystery Shopper.
Each week the mystery shopper seeks advice from independent advisers in the UK with the aim of finding out how financial advisory firms take potential new client calls and evaluate this first phone interview with them is carried out.
The process is assessed from initial contact with the firm, rating speed of response from the initial call, to how the call was directed, and culminating with the qualifications and knowledge of the adviser in question and guidance given.
The scenario for this was the caller recently returned to full-time employment as a graphic designer and wanted to find out what her options are for getting life insurance and income protection. She is married with two young children, and has a joint repayment mortgage with her husband, which has 22 years left on the mortgage term.
The call was directed to Ed Batty who was rated 34 out of 35 as a final score with the shopper finding him ‘….knowledgeable and helpful on the phone…. ‘ and ‘…felt very comfortable speaking to him about her circumstances.’
Ed was up against two IFA’s in Aylesbury and Woodstock and benchmarked against Vitality, the national insurance provider (in the hard copy publication). Congratulations to Ed and reception who directed the call, this is an excellent result for Shaw Gibbs.
